Grease oil wrenches gears

I was giving my husband a hard time this morning. He was silently walking around the house with his thinking expression on. I gave him a poke in the belly and sang a Tuneless Fa La La rather loudly. I told him if it wasn’t for me being silly his life would be like a wind up toy endlessly walking around thinking grease oil and wrenches gears over and over.

OK he may think of lots more than that, but who would know. Whatever personality type he is… Don’t get me started on that because I hate this whole personality type thing. His personality basically doesn’t share what he’s thinking. I used to worry about that until I learned that men have a nothing box.  They can literally think about nothing. Not the case this morning. I knew he was thinking about Grease oil wrenches in gears. Being a retired diesel mechanic doesn’t stop him from suiting up in work clothes (well I stop him when he goes out with nice clothes on). He goes out to the cold garage he uses for a shop. It’s cramped, and it’s cold, but that doesn’t stop him.

Anyway I told him you have no idea how many things I have thought about this morning. There’s a never ending spill of stuff. Like…

Grandkids, when should we go to Omaha to see those three girls, oh look there’s the book Bubba and I were reading last night. And the old fashion watch. I wonder who’s watch that was. Maybe my dad ‘s. But he was a construction worker so I don’t know if he would’ve wore a watch. I should keep it anyway though. How funny it was that it took 20 minutes to find Bubbas socks so he could go home. No way would you put those boots on without socks. Why does he always take his socks off anyway. Oh yeah he says they’re sweaty LOL that was nice of Kyla to come last night to look through the old trunk of stuff. She’s going to college this week. Will sure miss her. I bet Shaylee will miss her or she will be glad to have a room all to herself. I wonder if Shaylee‘s going to come spend the night anytime soon. Avery is going to get to visit Kyla‘s college I wonder if she will decide she wants to go there. Even though she says she doesn’t think she wants to go to college? Maybe she will wait until Rylan graduates so they can go together. Who knows. Oh yeah that doctor visit was so crazy. Seems like the doctor was mad at me the whole time because I had a list of things. Hope he’s in a better mood because I have to see him again this week. Shall I show him the spot on my ankle. We’ll see.  I should write grandpa‘s letter right now before I forget. How silly that Kyla can’t read cursive. I guess none of them can. I should take a picture of that spot on my ankle because it’s awful hard to reach. I should do more exercises. Wonder what we should have for supper tonight? I’m so excited about Nathan‘s adoption this week. Well he’s the third grandchild adopted in one year. How amazing. I should put some March decorations up around the house even though it’s not March yet. Even though no one but me looks at them. I need to stop and pray right now for Peggy. Maybe I’ll go turn the dryer on for 10 minutes so the clothes won’t be so wrinkled. I think I’ll go for a bike ride this afternoon if it’s warm enough. Remember when I used to ride bikes with Rose. It’s hard to believe it was more than 50 years or more ago.  How different Firestone was then then it is now.

My brain hurts. Maybe I should just think Grease Oil Wrenches Gears.

Stella’s dress

.
Stella had a recital this last weekend 5/12/2018 She looks so grown up and beautiful. Evelyn is truly in love with the dress. Stacey told me that she prayed for me the other night she just basically says grandma Pam. But the same prayer included Stella’s dress :-) LOL

..hanging with bubba is so much fun.

..

We love hanging out with Bubba. He really likes grandpa a lot. Call him Papa :-) last night he brought a book and wanted to sit on grandpa‘s lap so they could read a book together. He is such a good talker. He knows almost all those words in that book.

Ecuador Christmas

...
This was the view from our bedroom window at Todd and Jaime‘s apartment in Quincke. The night before Christmas Eve when we looked out the window you could already see people lined up for the baby Jesus parade. What a great experience that was to see the parade I think we spent almost the whole day there watching it.

Here are the girls on Christmas Eve waiting to open their sacks with PJs in them.

Rylan

Kyla and Avery.

Pictures

Here we go with pictures. What an amazing fun vacation we had with Todd,Jaime and the girls. The beach was in Peru, which involved a great trip in the van. Rylan looks grouchy because we woke her up from her cozy nap in the hammock to take family pictures. These beach pictures were before I broke my hip.
